Self-drive: N1 north from Johannesburg → N4 west towards Rustenburg/Brits → R512 turn-off → roughly 15 km to the signposted Ukutula entrance. Cellular signal is patchy past Hartbeespoort, so download offline maps or enter the coordinates -25.521922, 27.673801 before you leave.

The last stretch is tarred with short gravel sections — a normal sedan is fine, no 4x4 needed. There is free parking at the gate, and fuel plus a last shop stop is easiest in Hartbeespoort or Brits.
